Dr. Wright has always had a passion for helping people live healthier, more confident lives. Originally drawn to the medical field, he discovered dentistry as the perfect blend of science, artistry, and genuine connection. What began as curiosity while teaching high school science grew into a calling to care for others in a more personal way. Dentistry allows him to build lasting relationships with his patients while using his skill and artistry to enhance smiles, transforming not only a person’s appearance but also their confidence and overall well-being. Dr. Wright truly cares about people and the community he serves, viewing dentistry as a meaningful way to use the gifts God has given him to meet patients’ needs and enrich their lives.
Dr. Wright attended Furman University, where he completed both his undergraduate and master’s studies before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Throughout his decades in practice, he has pursued hundreds of hours of continuing education and advanced training to stay at the forefront of modern dentistry. In recognition of his excellence and dedication, Dr. Wright was honored as a nominee for Texas Dentist of the Year in 2010.

Originally from Harlingen, Texas, Dr. Wright has called this community home since 2003. He and his wife have three wonderful children and two dogs who keep life fun and full. Outside the office, Dr. Wright enjoys running with friends, traveling with his family, and sneaking in a round of golf whenever he can. He’s completed four marathons, including one under four hours! A fun fact about Dr. Wright: he was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, at the pink Tripler Army Medical Center.
